Mission Statement

The Mission of the Kansas College of Chinese Medicine, an institution of higher learning, is to provide quality education in the art, science and professional practice of Traditional Chinese Medicine, preparing our graduates to deliver quality healthcare to the public.

Philosophy

Our underlying philosophy, based upon the theory and practice of ancient Chinese Medicine, is that health and wellness are attained by achieving a state of harmony and balance between the spiritual, emotional, mental and physical bodies. Furthermore, the philosophy of the Kansas College of Chinese Medicine is to build a bridge between the nations of China and the United States by facilitating the transfer of knowledge and wisdom of the ancient art of Chinese Medicine to students who will become professionally qualified TCM practitioners. We believe that it is important to perpetuate the expansion of the delivery of Chinese Medicine by integrating it directly with conventional modern medical practices. We think that integrative medicine is a part of the emerging healthcare infrastructure, providing the greatest opportunity for overall wellness of the population.
