600 Hours Bodywork Certificate

  • KCCM offers a rigorous academic program that teaches many forms of therapeutic massage and Health Science. As a stand-alone healthcare discipline, Oriental Bodywork offers student involvement in the Traditional Chinese Medicine healthcare industry without requiring many of the prerequisites needed for other TCM disciplines. The Oriental Bodywork Program requires completion of 360 didactic and 240 clinic practice hours.

As a stand-alone healthcare discipline, Oriental Bodywork offers student involvement in the Traditional Chinese Medicine healthcare industry without requiring many of the prerequisites needed for other TCM disciplines. The Oriental Bodywork Program requires completion of 360 didactic and 240 clinic practice hours.


    Classes are offered individually or as a complete 600-hour program of study. Didactic hours are conducted over a series of day, evening and/or weekend classes. Student practicum is completed on campus in the Evergreen Wellness Center (EWC), a full service Traditional Chinese Medicine Clinic. Students enrolled in the entire 600-hour Program of study complete didactic course work in approximately 12 months.


    Certificates of Oriental Bodywork are awarded after successful completion of individual courses. A Diploma of Oriental Bodywork is awarded after successful completion of the entire 600-hour Program of study. Additionally, upon completion of the 600-hour Program of study, students are eligible to make application for certification through the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB).
