Chair Massage (15 Class Hour) >>  

This course is designed to teach you a safe, convenient, and affordable method of making massage available to a greater number of people. A fifteen-minute massage routine designed to reduce stress and relax the client will be taught. The routine concentrates on the upper body: including neck, shoulders, back, arms, hands, and head. The client is seated on a specially designed chair and remains fully clothed. No oils are used.

Course Objectives:

  • Apply a 15-minute acupressure sequence for the neck, shoulders, back, arms, hands, and scalp.
  • Apply variations of the sequence for 5,10, and 20-minute formats.
  • Perform the sequence on standard chairs as well as on special massage chairs.
