Thank you for considering the Kansas College of Chinese Medicine.I am pleased to introduce you to our College. At the Kansas College of Chinese Medicine we are committed to providing quality education in the art, science and professional practice of Traditional Chinese Medicine, preparing our graduates to deliver quality healthcare to the public.

KCCM is distinguished in the five state area for its academic excellence and diverse faculty. Our Oriental Bodywork and Oriental Medicine Program faculty is composed of practitioners who have completed advanced training in China and/or the United States. Our clinical instructors are experienced practitioners and offer diverse experience in the application of Oriental Medicine theory and practice. Our Western Medicine faculty are recog- nized practitioners in their field and offer unique insights to the integration of Oriental Medicine practices into the various fields of Western medical practice.

KCCM attracts a wide variety of students, many of which are well educated and experienced in other fields of Western Medicine practice. Our Programs are stimulating and set high education standards. Our curriculum is extensive, challenging and rewarding. KCCM graduates are excited, motivated, in demand in their communities and are at the forefront in offering Oriental Medicine services throughout the Mid-West.

As members of a vital and ever changing community, we offer a number of volunteer services and affordable health care options for the people of Kansas. Our Clinic offers an excellent training ground for the safe and effective administration of the finest in Oriental Medicine care. The College supports a number of research and wellness education programs in the areas of Disease Prevention, Diet, Nutrition, Weight Loss and Management and Stroke Rehabilitation.

Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine has seen phenomenal growth and is a key component in the acceptance of complementary modalities in the United States. Integrated health care utilizing both Eastern and Western Medicine has paved the way for a new level of medical practitioners. In the last ten years, the Kansas College of Chinese Medicine has positioned itself as a quality education provider with a comprehensive curriculum in both Western science and Traditional Chinese Medicine studies.

The Oriental Medicine career path is well defined and offers an infinite number of possibilities in the broader community of medical practice.
