Chinese Medicine has been proven over time to be an effective form of medical treatment with little or no side effects. Its holistic view, natural therapies and efficacy in treating a wide variety of disorders has rapidly gained popularity in the Western Hemisphere and is providing a very exciting and fast growing career alternative in the United States.
KCCM is a private College approved by the Kansas Board of Regents since 1997. The Accreditation Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (ACAOM) granted our Master of Oriental Program Candidacy status in February 2007. Graduates from the Master of Oriental Medicine Program are eligible to apply for national certification from the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). Graduates from the Oriental Bodywork Program are eligible to apply for National Certification through the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB). Both certifications are acknowledgement of the graduates professional achievement in their chosen field and qualifies them for licensure in those states requiring certification.
